So I got an electric golf cart and wanted to make a faster more powerful golf cart. Running a predator 420, which is working great, and this torque converter http://www.ebay.com/itm/GO-Kart-Tor...H_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c758a9a21&vxp=mtr so this is the first time I had ever used a torque converter and shredded one of the belt because i had the driven on backwards and nothing was aligned and the belt was backwards. So then I got the torque converter perfectly aligned and the torqu converter it self worked great. Then the chain kept falling off. It was a 10 tooth on torque converter and a 12 on the input shaft to the transmission on the golf cart (which is a 12.5:1 gear reduction) and the chain kept falling off on the same side of the sprocket every time I went over a big bump ant any speed at all. Upon further inspection the sprocket was completely worn on one side. So then I switched out the sprockets for pulleys and a belt. So then we got everything on and it worked for about 20 seconds then lost all it power and the belt would just slip. Can somebody help me to get this golf cart working properly please!!!
what is wrong with my golf cart? Misalignment definitely but what else was wrong?
