You know guys, I don't worship Russ *closes closet door to hide Russ shrine*, but the guy knows what he's talking about, for the most part. He humbly asked what a dresser grinder was when he didn't know. Hmmm... or maybe he did know and was testing us..
Anyway, Everything he's told me about the 2-cycle LB I've been working on has been dead on accurate! I just think it's funny when you guys try to prove him wrong. :arf: He has WAY more experience dealing with small engines than the majority of any of us here has. He's been dealing with them for longer than some of us have been alive!
Sometimes we just have to accept the fact that because we know quite a bit about a particular field, we don't know EVERYTHING about it and there is more room to learn and expand our knowledge. We need to drop our ambition and pride and be open to new ideas, experimentation helps in the process.
*NBC's "The more you know" theme plays in the background (the younger generation won't get that one)*:arf:
Russ is a great asset to have on this site with all of his small engine knowledge, after all, the majority of our karts are powered by them. He gives us information for FREE that we'd normally have to spend countless hours looking up ourselves or spend time going around to lawnmower shops to ask questions about. He's regularly on the site and always willing to answer your questions, you don't even have to leave home! Just give the guy a chance to explain things and then verify it for yourself to see if his suggestions work for you.
So Russ, here's to you buddy!
BTW, this doesn't mean I'm brown-nosing, I'm still gonna give you a hard time when I can!
