Need help with vintage kart

I am really liking those wide slick tires with the hard-edge profile. Can you give us a tire size off the sidewalls (or just one if fronts and rears are identical)? A photo would be cool too with brand, size, recommended psi, and number of plys, etc.

I also admire the front drop spindle brackets (or front axle) but that it's also reinforced across the top with that straight piece of tubing. Good design cue there. It's beefy.

The one thing keeping it from seeming like a legit racer is the fact that it needs more than 3.5 HP.
But I'd keep the engine for originality.

After doing research on restaurant collectibles and rarity I have come up with $900 to $1000 value if in running original condition. Anyone else think that is over the top.

So as a Kart with F1 body I would say yes. But with provenance and 1 of 1 original paint I would think more. That said you all are the experts on karts I am not. I whole heatedly want to thank everyone for all their help and knowledge. I could not be happier with everyone who posted and answered the call for help.

The biggest thing is that to most people, a go kart is a go kart.
I personally would be willing to shell out some more moola for a survivor like yours, but see above.

Unless you find a collector of vintage karts, everyone else is just going to see it as a kart with a cool body and you would probably only get it sold for about $500
