I need a diagram on this start box. Can't find one anywhere.
Looks self explanatory, but its not really IMHO.
The Box itself has 4 open connections, and the solenoid itself has its battery terminal side and a black wire AND a black wire with white strip.
What I know to be true, the brown lead you see will go back up to the flywheel charging coil that recharges the system as they are both brown leads. On the start box I believe the large white wire will either go to the positive terminal of the battery OR the open side of the solenoid. Probably more than likely to the positive side of battery that would put power to the switch box. There is a insulated flat connector on the starter with the box that has a black and white wire. Not sure if this one will get hooked up. I assume it is a magneto or stator lead.
I removed the stock kill switch, so I assume that open thick black lead will plug into the black lead on the box, and the open middle end will go to my kill switch as that wire has two connections. That would connect all the wires on the box except the black and white lead. But now what to do with the black wire AND a black wire with white strip on the solenoid?
The battery has to have a ground of some sort, I can only assume the battery needs to be grounded to frame?
This starter kit is self contained there fore it should have all the connections required and I should not need to ground battery to frame. The leads are very short coming off the solenoid.
They are not more than about 3" long at most. I know its not rocket science, but I don't wanna have the same thing happen to me as the dam Chinese 70cc dragster night mare.
