So I’m planning to replicate the Chuck graves R6 kart for autoX. I like the simplicity of a solid axle, and small size. I don’t want to go the stretched shifter kart frame with a 600cc motor. They’re just too small. I can fabricate most of the build but I’d prefer to find off the shelf parts like the live axle setup. And the front spindle/axle solution. I don’t have a lathe. I know he’s running FSAE tires and wheels. If you have any links to some of the main components you can spot on his kart id appreciate it!
Items in trying to source:
-FSAE wheels (I think they are 10” aluminum)
-FSAE Hoosiers I can’t get
-50mm live axle with bearings
-front axle solution (prefer to not have a-arms/ suspension)
- maybe a rear brake system that works with a 50mm axle.

So I’m still trying to source everything. I still can’t find a way to adapt formula SAE wheels to a 40 or 50mm go kart axle. Anyone know how to do this? I want to use all race kart parts, spindles/ brakes/ axle with the 10” wheels all on a custom chassis. Any help is greatly appreciated

I don't know of any 40mm or 50mm racekart Wheel Hubs with a 4 bolt patern, but unless you want to fabricate adaptors: you could try contacting DWT and ask if you could special order a pair of 10x8 rims with the offset & backspacing you want, and a metric 3-bolt patern and center hole size made to fit (your choice of 40mm or 50mm) racekart wheel hubs.

DWT manufacture's lots of metric racekart rims, so it shouldn't be any big deal for them to machine one of their 10x8 rim blanks to fit a racekart 3-bolt hub (y)
