Curious if anyone can help me identify what kind of Kart this is. Thinking about buying it from my neighbor for my 9 yr old. He’s put a Predator 420 and a 40 Series clutch on it and replaced the brakes that needed to be replaced again. Unfortunately he kept it outside in the Texas heat/humidity and it needs a bit of TLC, but potentially a fun little project.

Can't help you with the ID, but I just want to say one thing.
With that 13 HP 420 and a 40 series TC, that'll probably be way too much for a 9 year old.
It'll either do wheelies, or it'll go scary fast.

I won't argue with that JT, he'll have to grow into it. I haven't seen it move yet (Had the wrong replacement belt on it). That will be interesting to see once the new belt comes in. Adding a throttle stop would be simple enough of a solution to that problem for now.

I agree with both. For now a throttle stop and then teach throttle control, boy was that a sight to see when I thought my youngest brother.

Floor it, brake, floor it, break......

I think I was 6 when I got on a kart, 3.5hp clinton with no governer (stock) and also the best brakes I've had on a kart, most of mine suck. They're still the best 10 years later.
