The first one doesn't have enough information to compare to. Need to know the volume of air it can produce.

For the money, this is the better of the two. Ok, you don't get the $50 bonus tool pack but, two heads are always better than one

I thought the same but, being a twin, you'd expect it to be more than a single, right?

EDIT: Wait, it does:

Suction performance 400L/minute

I would assume that suction performance and pressure performance could be quite different, but I didn't notice the fact that it's a twin. It would be good to know if it's actually two-stage or if it's just two cylinders; two-stage is better.

Suction??? I have NEVER seen a compressor rated according to suction. WTH? We care about the maxumum pressure developed, tank capacity, and nominal maximum air delivery. But suction?

...Moving this to tools...

just bought the parkside 2-cylinder 3hp 50l air compressor
comes with a 3 year guarantee
it says "Second connection for unregulated tank pressure release"
what is this ,does this mean i can use 2 tools at a time?

Ha suction performance
No such thing as suction

The second fitting wil be plugged straight into the tank and it will deliver what ever tank pressure is

The main fitting is regulated so u can adjust your pressure

U will set the regulator at 100psi
And try not to use the second fitting as it will be a higher pressure

U could use that one to seat a bead on a tyre

U need normal paint
But it must be for the correct material

U can't paint steel with house paint and so on

Then u need a spray gun and some paint thinners
There's a bit of a knack to spray painting but its not hard

If u install a regulator on the second fitting then u can run two air lines

This really isn't required in a hobby situation but its an option

i get the idea of not using house paint in the sprayer
say if i was spraying something black gloss ,could i buy a normal tin of black gloss and use thinners with it ,thats what i want to no

Yeah- That'd work just fine...

Your compressor pushes air. It doesn't care what kind of paint you want to use. All you have to do is choose a spray gun, buy the paint, and get all creative. You will need to thin the paint according to the paint manufacturer's instructions, and the gun characteristics. What you use for thinner will depend on the paint. Alkyd (like Tremclad) will require Varsol, Mineral sprits, Acetone, or other similar solvent. Latex and acrylics will require water, isopropyl alcohol, or a pre-formulated "latex thinner". Shellacs are knocked down with Methyl Hydrate. High end automotive finishes require specific reducers.
