Offer him $75 for just the kart. Pass on that other stuff. That looks like a nice vintage kart. Find out what you have before you go adding quad wheels and stuff.

That would be a sick kart restored just how it is. No joke man. Just sick!!!!!!!

About the moter above the engine? Post a pic of how the engine bolts to the frame? Does it look like any mods were done there? Or does it look like an engine could have been in another spot before? Anything like that?

If this is a factory made kart you need to do some research. If it home brew I would love to see some more pics of this one.

It's alright bighead, ever since she showed me the pics of it I've been whinging in her ear to restore it back to original.....Shes going to go get it tomorrow.

It looks like its a proper frame, but I think its been modified in the back end and a bit at the front. If she would come back on and reply to you guys with anymore info it would be helpful.....JESSSS!

OH and if anyone knows what type of engine it has that would be great.....Ive been so annoyed that I cant work it out :(

As far as I know rupps werent that common over here, I've been sussing all the vintage stuff out for a while so yea, I think it may have actually had a hemispherical tank mounted to the back of the seat. Like some of the ones on here. http://www.vintagekart.4t.com/photo_14.html

From the photos of her kart there dont appear to be any mounting holes though. The fuel tank thats currently on it appears to be from an old victa mower, its entirely possible that it did actually run that tank originally as some early racing karts over here ran converted victa mower engines with some using the same tank as the mower. Maybe it was victa powered once?
