Hi guys, I have a manco stinger kart (around 20 years old) just put a new predator 212 on it. the drive assembly threads broke it has a two piece rim that's threaded for the the bolts that hold the sprocket and brake on well the threaded holes have crumbled. couldn't find that style setup anywhere online. the tires are 145/70-6" #35 chain i plan to just go ahead and replace the sprocket and brake. I found a kit online $95 shipped but it comes with a tire ( I just bought 2 new ones) and shipping is super high any cheaper alternatives?

I hope i explained it well enough I'm not the sharpest about karts still learning

this is a small kart the back tires are 145/70-6" the front are 4.10/3.50-5". would it mess up gear ratio to put 145/70-6" on the front? it doesn't have suspension I'm thinking it would make for a smoother ride?

Front tire size has NOTHING to do with gear ratio! Put whatever size tires you want on there!
As for a softer ride, it's all relative with go karts! :lolgoku:
If you want a softer ride without real suspension, taller tire sidewalls will help cushion.
