Post a pic... but really I think unbolt everything, maybe clean/sand the axle and it should come apart rather easily. look for hidden set screws etcetera.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the rear axle from a streaker kart?

Is a live axle or one wheel pull setup?

At least for me, getting the axle off my streaker cart really sucked since the bearings were frozen to the axle. Mine was a 4 bearing differential. Normally you could unbolt the triangle bearing flanges, loosen the collars holding the bearings, and slide the bearings over an inch, allowing you to then drop the axle straight down. With the four bearing setup, two of the bearings are slid from the left, and two are slid from the right, and once they rust and get locked in place, you have to resort to cutting at least two bearings off. I ended up splitting the differential too; I'm not sure if it helped but it did allow me to work on one side at a time. My brake disks were frozen to the axle also, so having the diff split allowed me to replace the bearings without having to cut the disks off.

Or, and just follow me for a second here, you take some emery cloth to the axle until all rust is gone, then hit around the bearings with some pb blaster (not wd-40!) and if you really have to you heat uo around the bearings with a torch, then cool with water, and releat until they come off.

Less chance of ruining the axle.
