A little road rash and a headache, but all is well. Cheapest I've seen for a running one anywhere near me is averaging around $1000 if restored or restomod like mine. More if they are original and running. Unfortunately the second one never showed last night or I'd have two.

At least you are ok. I was working on my Dingo 2 days ago. I had to use a hacksaw on a bolt. My hand was stabilizing the roll hoop underneath....picture shows the result.

My pedal box on the dingo bolt in too. On the Manco 405 they are welded on with no bolt hole, so presumably factory.

I think I found a contributing factor to my roll-over. I may be qrong, but I think my spindles are upside down, and sitting backward from the pitch they should have, my other cart has the spindles angled toward the rear, and my dingo to the front. Am I correct, and what might be the best way to fix if so?

Looks almost the same, do your tierods run under or over the frame? My original floor had a "v" channel that I think routed mine under, but who knows, a lot of bad things were done to mine before I got it.

I almost bet that's what is causing my alignment to be off, they are 100% straight, no toe in at all like it should have but I'm at the end of the threads as it is, maybe some longer tierods are in order.

They came! I now have both models of single seat dingo that I'm aware of, and now a manco fox 2! The dingo needs lots of help, the fox is actually in nice condition and mostly there. I'll get pics as soon as I get a moment.

Here is the other dingo, not as bad as my first one but pretty rough, I'll probably barrow the brake from this one for the blue one while I fix this one up.



And this is the crosskart frame I'm giving to my friend, I guess it's originally supposed to be a long travel buggy, but we will see what happens with it over time, he is a crazy ol mechanic too, so who knows.

That dingo looks like a solid foundation. You might add some 1/8” 3” wide flatbar to replace the thin seat bottom reinforcement. I love the dingos!! Engine plans?

I was just looking at the metal for the seat, and I agree that replacing it is going to happen, I have some 1/4" by 4" flat bar laying around, overkill but free. As of now I don't have anything planned on the engine side of things for the dingo, I'll still have to get a picture of the fox2 as well, it will likely get an old flathead 5hp just because it's what I've got, and it's still small enough for the kids to not get hurt too bad, but I've got a few years till they can reach the pedals on it so I'll be doing the driving for now.

The steel will help a lot. It will make the seat sturdy and tie in everything better. I used 2” wide for the bottom and 3” for the back. Cut a relief in the back piece then I bent the back piece in the vise to connect to the bottom. Welded up the relief then welded to the bottom plate.

Is this some sort of limited slip, or just a clever way to do a dead axle? Both wheels turn independent of the other.

Will the piece spin? Maybe it was some sort of differential? If you spin the piece will the tires spin, aka did they put the sprocket on one of their axles instead od the diff.

It looks like a live axle, has the outer bearings on the frame, and righ at the engine plate there are two pillow blocks, they don't spin like a live axle however, tug on the sprocket and the left wheel turns, just like one wheel peel. Did they perhaps simply cut the live axle between the pillow blocks? I was fairly certain that all the dingo karts had a live axle? This one I believe is the same model as the one you are building dingocat, yours is live axle correct?
