Whats up I just thought since im kinda a newbie to go karting stuff I would post some pics of my kart and then ask some questions about the crazy **** i want to do with it...

ATTACH]3086[/ATTACH]

So as you can see my kart is pretty haggard...I have another thread about my air inflator/compressor thing that i'm hooking up to my intake manifold. I will get pics later. Here is a list of some of the things I want to do with it: (I need some info about some of this stuff)

1. add my cylinder design(read below)
2. add a new exhaust pipe
3. add a new gas tank (this one takes up a lot of modding space)
4. finish up my intake pipe with intake fan
5. add an RPM gauge to tell me when I can open the cylinder(its really tight because I've got this crazy little red button on the steering wheel that will turn it on...after watching hours of the fast and the furious movies)

So I will have some pics and updates tomorow hopefully because its like 9:30 here so I can't really work on it. Tell me what you think...later...:cheers2:

That kart looks like it would be SO much fun, but seriously the air compressor will do absolutely nothing. It will not make a difference. There is no possible way it can work.

I just don't want to see you wasting your time when you could be improving it in ways that will... actually improve it.

You should see the crazy jumps and hills we go off of in that thing...Well I've got a new design for it so i think im going to throw that out...I am adding a little cylinder that opens electronicly, inside there is going to be a mix of nitro buggy fuel, octane booster, and some other stuff which i am still working out...when i press the button it lets all of those fluids into the carburator making a big increase in power...if i did all of the math right maybe enough to near blow up my engine...updates later

Not all of us have the money for a gsxr engine or a nitrous kit large enough for his motor. He can experiment with the alcohol/nitro injection but you better hope your injecting it at a high pressure with a fine mist.

Yeah i will try to find pics of the stuff i'm using...I will have a few psi of pressure on this thing...does anyone know if I still have the gas running will it flood the carb.???

I don't know i could inject it anywhere there is an extra port on the carb that i can hook a wire up to. I'm going to hook it up and test run it...

UPDATE: here are some pics of the stuff i'm using for my "custom nitrous oxide"...I'm also using nitro buggy fuel (the stuff they use in nitro buggy's)

I saw a whole bike the other day for $300 dollars, and often see older cruisers with in line fours for less than $150, and since most people on a budget buy a clone for $99, then a clutch for around $10, 150 for a whole bike with lots of useful parts isnt very expensive.

but yet somehow you have money for a $5000 billet engine

where do you get a $10 clutch? they;re all $30 around here

The exact formula for the stuff i'm going to use is right here:

1 part gas
4 part nitro buggy fuel
3 part octane booster
1 part axe

I will do some testing with it on my engine but it should work...I will also get pics of the tank that will hold my nitro stuff.

you can find them for $10 on ebay sometimes, the better hillards are $30.

1 part axe haha that made me laugh, that stuffs really flammable, last new years we played with ax, matches, and roman candles.

I was just saying ed that not ALL of us have the money just to slap a gsxr motor on our karts. Whats the axe going to do to the engine? You already have alcohol in the mix. The only thing thats actually flamable in ax is the propelent (Propane) and the scent carrier (Alcohol). The Axe is a complete waste. And that "Extra port" on the carb is most likely a overflow. Your carb is NOT going to like all that alky/nitro in the float bowl area, Drill and tap your intake for a injector of some kind. Most likely the engine is just going to load up with fuel or a bad backfire. IMO I would run like propane injection or something in a gasious state and not a liquid.

Lmao, Whenever somone says "Axe" somone always says "Lets light it up" But realy if he just sprays it out of the can and then poors it into his concoction mixxing bottle I dont think its going to do much (Except ruin the Ozone Layer) Gawsh I need a hug, Wheres the trees? XD

This whole thread I've been thinking "wtf is axe?", so I looked it up. Here in Australia it's called Lynx, just in case anyone else is confused.

Oh, and I wouldn't advise spraying it in your engine.
The octane booster will not do anything, the axe will do nothing *good*, the 'gas' will just make it run rich... the only thing that could actually do something is the nitro buggy fuel. I think you should just use that by itself.

If you want to feel a boost, inject oxygen into a running engine, oxygen as in a cutting torch. NOT acytalene!!!, you will just be blown up. Connect a rubber hose from the torch tip to the aircleaner, open the oxygen valve on the tank, Start your engine, press the leaver on the back of the torch handle to release the oxygen, I guarentee the engine will boost, you are also guarenteed to burn a hole in your piston if you do it very often or for more than a second or two at a time. It is poor mans Nitrous, and it works, we used it alot when I was a kid, and we blew alot of engines. DANGER DANGER DANGER, as I said, you will blow your engine, if you use it too much, also helps to richen the carb a bit. But it's a heck of alot of fun.
