My homemade shifter kart.

i bought a motor mount and fabricated it so that it fits the kx250! no pump yet, hoping that i wont need one but not sure. we will see though if i nee one the i will just have to order me on from ebay.

How any liters per hour will it be and is it gravity or electric?

sprocket and chain and sprocket carrier have been ordered! just waiting for it to be delivered so i can drive this kart. will be doing front wheel braking and other little upgrades here in the future, just would like to get it going first!

Everything is almost done, just need to install a clutch cable and try and start it up tomorrow!

im going to be tackling the same build as you. kx250 on race frame.

was wodering which motor mount you modified.

and is there anything for me to watch out for while building

i did the kx250 i have a vid of it running. i got basically a complete motor with wiring harness and all that stuff was just missing sprocket and exhaust. just need to get minor little details fixed and it will be good. i also need a bigger place to drive it!

kart runs well just need minor adjustment, like pushing the seat back a little this was just a small vid or warm up of the kart, i think i went to second gear once i really didn't take it out of first.

A well positioned sheet of plywood fixes that hurdle (excuse the pun)
