Can someone reply to my please help post

Umm:
You gotta have a key between the sprocket and the axle

your sprocket appears to be to big
:mad2:

Dont run your kart with the sprocket like that. Its slowly wearing down the axle and sprocket hub.

Ah just about to say that Devino, but you typed whilst i was watching the vids :)
Another thing is how many teeth are there on the clutch sprocket and the axle sprocket and how big are the wheels? I think when you put that key in and try to rev to go you will still not go due to a bad gear ratio.

I see 2 problems. The chain is not the right size and is not meshing on the clutch right. Also the rear sprocket needs to be bigger.

Good eye, Karl- The chain and axle sprocket are not the same pitch as the clutch. If I had to guess, I'd say the clutch is a #35, and the chain and axle sprocket are #40.

Man this may be a dumb question....well maby two
but did you put keys at your wheel hubs ?
and whats that flopping around on your axle next to the sprocket a brake disk ? oh and yes you either need to get a #40 pitch clutch or a #35 sprocket and chain,
looking at your video close it looks as though your axle is turning, at least some but your wheels aren't as if there is no key and just free wheeling.

i will have to buy a #35 chain and sprocket... the clutch i have is #35.

the thing flopping around i don't even know what it is. like i said in my first post i received this from someone, and it came with everything on it, missing a few big parts tho. I thought it was a holder for the sprocket, but im not sure. i will try and buy the #35 parts and see if that is the problem, thanks guys. but im still unsure on where to put this key that u guys are talking about?

as devino said, you need to attach your sprocket to the axle! a key is required (assuming you already have a key way in the axle and sprocket).

secondly, you need to change your gear ratio, big tires, cent clutch, 5hp, and small axle sprocket = ruined clutch.

EDIT:  didn't see the second page...

The wheels on your kart look pretty big (can you tell us the diameter of the tyres?)
The ratio still may not be sufficient.
The thing on the axle floating around looks like the brake disc and should be mounted on a hub similar to the sprocket hub with a key, and put inbetween the brake caliper.
That chain is very long and woul be good for a few spares. You could buy shorter if you want tho.
You also need a master link.
