hi guys im meedo from egypt and i am intending to build a kart for my 4years son . I began with the square tubes as it is better for a beginner like me . will that kind of mechanism work???

its a water pump clutch , sprocket is a normal bicycle sprocket 15 tooth , and i just removed pedals from the large sprocket ,

i changed the plans from going square to round tubes as it looks much sexier , same engine honda 5.5 hp gx

i belive you gotta bend it a few degrees past what you need cause the steel will spring back

thanks for the spring back advise also i`m asking about making the ends of the tube at the same level after two bends ?? sorry for my english .

Your english is fine. and that would depend on the length of the tubes have some exccess piping on the ends of it so you can cut it were you need after its been bent.

thats not what i meant i mean , after bending a two bends and laying the tube on the ground one end is on the ground and the other end is lifted up a little bit from the ground

You need something like this, its an angle finder that clamps right onto your tubing so you can always keep it at 0*, and then your bends will all be pretty much inline.
