Well, the cross piece is smaller than the original frame, (and I think the whole extension is smaller tubing.)

I see no tubing going through the cross piece, but even if there was, it would be so small that it would be pretty ineffective inside the larger main frame.

To be done properly, the extension should have mated up to the main frame just like in the pic Landuse provided and been the same size tubing with a snug sleeve. Then the cross piece should have been cut to fit inbetween and THEN it could have just been butt welded.

No way it holds up as is....

Take a photo of that. I don't see it. If you did, then kudos to you, even though it was a round tube. Better than nothing

Looking at the pic you posted it looks like you just butt welded the frame to the extension without a sleeve. Looking at it again i can see a hole that you welded up like in the pic i provided.

This is the pic of yours i am referring to. Is this where you sleeved it?

Yes. 3/4 sleeve actually almost like the picture you showed me. i need to get the welder to finish it for me though.

ah, the ultimate test. if i find any thing worth jumping i will.

Oh good lordy...

Do what I do freerunner... JUMP ON IT. (no, not Jump IT.. 7mph won't jump anything although I'd love to see it with you... you're special.)

Stand on your invisible seat (or where that seat outta be), and BOUNCE ON IT. That'll tell ya what's gonna happen.

Do it. Y'alls hear that? I'll pay you.... to film you... JUMPING ON that where your seat should be. 5 GOOD, and I mean GOOD BOUNCES. Prove em wrong! Let's see it.

Weaving back & forth in the one wheel, one wheel steering thing won't cut it.

disclaimer: Should said party jump on his thingy and bend it, the party offering money bears no responsibility for any injuries incurred whilst attempting such a feat. Futhermore, the offering party (confederate money that is) agrees to pay something should said party accept the challenge.

Bought a rod and custom fabricated it to hold 2 carbs plus the intake manifold. Had to cut and thread it.

The 2nd carb is for boost all while the main carb is naturally aspirated.
Drilled a small hole for the 2nd carb and to maintain boost velocity.i need a small oxygen tank with a regulator that would take place of a blow off valve and wastegate and is extremely portable that lasts a good while before recharge.(pretty cheap, i'll worry about that later)

Instead of a blue flame indicating a balanced air/fuel ratio..with boost i now have a running engine with an orange flame which indicates it works but is on the rich side.
_It was definitely different. i would throttle it a bit and and when i let off, it would continue for another 300rpm and then decelerate.

No matter what i do even if it works, po' Boy will always be there to criticize. so i'll release the pic anyways :p~

Not rich enough to experiment with jackshafts so i experimented with this idea.

lol@the tape. Good enough for testing purposes.

i think it looks good. Even though the chain came apart at the master link from the bumpy road. Thought i'd take a pic.

If everything goes well, within a few weeks i will have my job back when my employer gets re-employed and i'll be back in kart building action. Welding machine will be on the list of things to get for sure. Oh man the plans i have. i'll just shush for now lol i have money to stack up.

Also found a good spot for the fuel pump i bought. Just needs a "T" fitting to pressurize the tank:

<same pic\/:

ignore the 2nd carb, it's a failed concept. "stacking" carbs like shown in the picture does not work. My other idea does work.

Didja jump on it yet? It looks like you did. (well, more than it was already bent) That, or that TC cover is meant to touch the wheel adding to the cool-factor effect achieved by sh!t flying off of, being ground off, and from the rear of the ride. Bravo on that... and/or, the rear portion/addition was welded at an angle on purpose.

Get some smoke bombs, tape them across the back and lite em all... I wanna see a show!
