Blues man.....And the best- what I make with my fingers. Not to say I don't enjoy other music. One thing I have to say about rap -the "C" is silent but it's the first letter.....

Well we are is far outta town that we have no FM radio
So the only AM music station prided its self on 60s 70s and 80s rock somthing very similar to toystorys list
+ dad is obviously into that being as the 70s was his hayday

So I grew up on that and still live it

Then went to boarding school and found the pop culture stuff was junk
Went hunting for somthing with a bit of go
So metal is was
Pantera
Metallica
Killswitch
Iron maiden
Trivium

Are my favorite

Also don't mind a bit of auusie country
John Williamson
Sarah storer
Lee kernaghan
Kevin bloody Wilson

EDIT
Who the hell were the sex pistols?
I've heard of them before but though it was a joke gay band (no aiffence to anyone who likes them)
Did they have any hits?

Now 'sid vicious!

:lolgoku:

So.. music huh?
Well...

I like Rockabilly
starting from
Johnny Burnette
Eddie Cochran
Bill Haley
Wanda Jackson
Carl Perkins
Gene Vincent
going all the way to the
Polecats
Stray Cats
and stuff like that

I also like Psychobilly
Batmobile
Krewmen
Frantic Flintstones
Demented are go

Oh and Surf from original
Beach Boys
Jan and Dean
up to more recent
Men or Astromen
Chewbaccas and so on

And Swing (just to scratch the Jazz records ;))
Neo only I must admit
Big Bad Voodoo Daddies
Cherry Poppin Daddies
Squirrel Nut Zippers
things like that

I do have the complete discography
of
Guns'n' Roses (ah.. here we go :D)
Alice in Chains (my jar of flies is missing )
Marilyn Manson
Depeche Mode
Faith No More
quite a handfull of other bands
and of course
ZZ Top

Not too complete
Random stuff incl some must haves:
Arctic Monkeys
New Model Army
Black Sabbath
Led Zeppelin
Alice Cooper
Beastie boys
Tool
Richard Cheese
just to name a few -this is getting too long-;)

Sometimes, some more recent stuff gets through..
but I never bought a record or something..
even Dubstep!

I was amazed by DubFX for example (Australian guy...)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bioYs6oAD8g

Now for the very short list of what I don't like...
I f** hate Techno in every single variation
This might be sound, but certainly not music

country, hillbilly, folk, dixieland, bluegrass and stuff makes me angry...

Oh and that all the same girl whiny stuff (girls music.. see me vomit)
I can't even tell what's their name but you know.. if it's a girl singing (should say crying) and it's not older than 4 years it's most likely what I'm talking about :D
Or to quote Crow from MST3K "Music for the heavily sedated"

Im not a fan of girly music but, ROCK CHICKS RULE :cornut:

As for techno, I've built competition level car audio systems for rock music &, with a few tweaks & adjustments, they just scream Techno. Don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about the Hi NRG rubbish, just good dance with a killer bass beat...

Keep in mind, tha camera couldn't deliver the sound produced by the system...

Your the one at the lights that's got the food doofvthats drowning out my music from the other side of the intersection

Is it one of those adio systems that's worth more than the car?

I put 2 6x9 speakers in my pickup and that's plenty
But I'm not entering any completions with mine

rock chicks? .. okay I'm in 5678's ;)
really bad jap. rockabilly girl band... that's the good way of being bad,
famous because of kill bill.. still cool :D

I cannot open the videos for some reason.. quicktime locks up the CPU and so does vlc.. both in full stealth mode.. no image, no sound.
I think now my computer is sentinent and trying to protect my sensible audio receptors from Techno...
Or I have a missing codec or you uploaded a malformed file... I don't know.
:D

Fab, could you please find another format to present your video's? Photo Buckets pop up adds are so horrendous that I spent ~ 5 minutes trying to kill them and never even got near your actual clips.

If I have to watch 10 minutes of :censored::censored::censored::censored: F**KED UP advertizing to try and watch a 2 minute video, then your video might as well never have existed in the first place.

EDIT: More like 15 minutes because 'Sids' post wasn't on yet when I started....

As I said before, I like a lot of different music types; how often I listen to them can come down to whether or not I can dial it in on my radio....

I live outside of the local large city (Grand Rapids, Michigan), which means that any station who's tower is on the other side becomes problematic to pick up. So, since my local PBS station also has a sister AM radio station (which I can't pick up at home with the AM equipment I currently own) which plays only the oldies (one of the formats I like) and uses the oldies station as the background music for the schedule channel for the other three TV channels, I just tuned the TV into the channel scrawl station for the afternoon while working on the computer....

One advantage; I don't have any stereo AM equipment, but the station comes in in stereo just fine thru my TV......

:cheers2::thumbsup::popcorn: Pat
