Hello I want to see some muscle cars so I will start with my '79 Pontiac T/A. Trans Am for people not in the know. It has 2.5inch dual exhaust with flowmasters for a great sound. Powered by a 434c.i. pontiac engine thats a 1965 421 block. Ported #62 heads(big valve pontiac heads) Performer rpm intake manifold, 850cfm holly double pumper, headers, msd distributor, and comp cam and lifters. 10.5:1 compression runs 111 octane race fuel.

The new build will be a tad over 9:1. what was pictured was a stock truck engine(stock heads, cam, intake), which was 8.2:1. It ran a best of 13.8's at 96 with 1.88 60's. Next go around should have me somewhere in the 11's on spray! The 95 previous weight was 3,940 lbs without driver. If my calculations are correct, it should be around 2900 with driver.

and thanks, yours looks great as well! They all do!!!!
