tell your buddy holding the camera/phone to turn it sideways BEFORE hitting record, for a nice widescreen video. our eyes are left and right on our heads, not above and below. lol.

seriously, why haven't people figured this out yet? lol.

sweet kart though. reminds me of the first one i built. question though... on the the rear swingarm it appears that the bolts holding the swingarm to the rest of the kart are only single sheared, causing a weak spot. hit a big rock or tree stump with a rear tire and the swingarm could seperate from the rest of the kart quite easily. i would suggest that you double shear those bolts (a tab on the left and right of each bolt) for increased stength.

Because it's the opersite of what your thinking
Lol

With the I phone anyhow

If u hold it normally (portrait ) it takes a normal vid
Because that's the sensible way to make it
It operates the best if u hold it like it was designed

But people (I do it lots my mistake) think that because u turn it on its side and the screen footage goes into landscape that do does the video

very cool. any way you can loosen those shocks up a bit? suspension seems awfully stiff and not doing much to soften the general ride quality. sometimes people adjust their shocks for max rider weight, but in reality you want there to be some droop to the kart when you get on it so that the shocks not only allow the wheels to go UP when hitting bumps, but also to go DOWN when there are dips and holes. a good ratio is 70/30 for up/down suspension - meaning that when the rider is in the kart, the kart will droop down about 30 percent of the shocks capability. this allows the shocks to compensate that 30% for holes and dips, and 70% for bumps and jumps.

edit:
i went through your other videos again, and it seems that your fronts shocks are not too bad, but the rear ones do seem a bit stiff. in the video above when a person climbed in the kart, it doesn't seem like it hardly lowered the kart. maybe throw a big bag of sand on your lap. that oughtta do it. lol.

Hello again

NEWS! After driving the buggy for a while, I decided to make 3 major changes.

1. Put a 200cc motorcycle engine (16hp aprox).
2. Put longer front A-Arms (the full width of the buggy will be 56 inches approx)
3. Change the swing arm by double A-Arms.

I will try to upload some photos soon

Pd: mysteryboy28 thank you for the recommendation. Unfortunately these shocks are too hard. They were in the softest position.
