Hi everyone
I finally let laziness and started this thread.
Well, after my accident a few months ago with my 16hp wooden go kart (u can see it here www.diygokarts.com/vb/showthread.php?t=22693), I decided that if I want to go fast in the dunes, trail or any unpaved areas, I NEED something with a roll cage to keep me in one piece.
Thats why I started this project two months ago that I'm slowly trying to finish
I'll be so grateful with any advice you can give me.

Here are some pics I've been taking during the project.

Great work so far

Just one tip: More triangles in the base frame, between the two side rails. If you put angled braces betweem the uprights, it will be much stronger

Thank you very much for the advice. The idea is to put brackets around the entire chasis with square/round tubing, like the one I welded on the roll-cage but smaller.
