Why not make those rear arm mounts double shear? Will add some more strength.

Got some more work done today. Now its sitting on all fours again. Got the rear shocks mounted too. As I'm getting closer to inishing it I'm wondering what I could get for it on ebay or cragslist. What do you guys thing a fair asking price would be? I have put over a years work and fabrication into it so Im hoping to get a decent amount of cash :wai:

Finished tieing the rear shock mounts into the rest of the frame today. I'm pretty sure they will never shear off.

Been a long A$$ time since I posted last. I was busy catching up on things in school and didn't have time to work. Got my complete brake setup (dont know if Im using master cylinder for sure yet). I ran my rear brake line to the back caliper, just need to connect and bleed everything. I also started mocking up the front calipers on the spindles. Next is steering. I've revised the rack so it is stronger and adjustable.

I think that I read on another forum that he had sold it.

Its still sitting in my shop collecting dust. My truck took precedent over it for now because I need it to get to school and back. Hopefully Ill finish it someday but for now it just sits :mad2:

Mostly shop classes, also a "chopper class" where we build motorcycles to sell at shows in order to support the program, and get new tools.

Looking good MRFrey!

One thing to think about, If you ran the front A-Arm mounts on the outside of the lower Frame square tubing you will get better ground clearance. I set up my buggy build to bottom out at 4 inches from the ground.
Also if you gave the front mounts a few degrees of rake it will handle better when hitting whoops. Having the A-arms in line with the frame will make the front want to dart around a bit.

I was really impressed at how well the Hijacker shocks worked on my buggy project. 115-120psi Of Nitrogen was the happy spot with 2 Adults.
