Mini Bike Questions

i have a bunch of questions about making a mini bike i am new to this and don't know much about it.



1. what is the best way to mount the back wheel with sprocket and break? pics?
2. where is the best place to get parts-clutch,break drum, sprocket,throttle,etc.?
3. I way 200lb, so will a 6.5hp harbor freight engine work?

Here is something to think about. Do you really want to spend all the money building a minibike, when the DB 30 is so cheap? Plus the DB comes with a disc brake, large knobby tires, pre painted frame. Everthing is together and a 6.5hp engine is just a conversion plate away!

If you really want to build one yourself... Here is IMO the best place to purchase starter parts. MFG Supply They have many reasonably priced parts and extremely cheap shipping.

eagle talons- personally i have had trouble with baja and had to return one of those baja warriors, and i think it would be fun for me and my dad to do,i was thinking it would have front suspension and possibly a rear swing arm.

What was wrong with your Baja Warrior? I'm happy with my Doodle Bug, but I did get it for $100. If I were to build one I'd probably want suspension too I'd also go with a torque converter so I can go off road but the 6.5 should do ok with a centrifugal clutch.
I like http://www.quickieparts.com/ because you can get free shipping but you might shop around and get parts cheaper.

my warrior tipped over and it just stopped running and then we couldn't get it running again,it was frustrating cause then the pull cord got all messed up,and we decided to just return it before any thing else went wrong.
