Slow is fine, for right now anyway. It'll still do about 20 ish MPH. It turns the wheel at 8.25 to 1 .
10 on the clutch, to 17T down to 8T to 54 on the wheel.
If my grandsons can't ride it , I have a 212 hemi for it setting in the box. And torque converter should be here Monday. Got um on ebay,

The black DP epoxy is on. The bars and forks will stay black. Going to put some clear on them. The frame I'm thinking, a 70s red metal flake or sparkle paint.

Stayed out here late last night getting it painted, I think it's going to be a bad little bike.

It's the fastest 20 MPH mini bike I've been on. Probably not 20 but close. The torque pushes in tall wet grass pretty good. . And I'm 6ft 200lb. So my 50lb grandson should fly on it.

I was gonna say do a longer pipe than the shorter one, but shorter than the longer one. :D

My view is it should follow the angle of the upswept rear frame members, i.e., angled up.
Looking good, regardless.

Fine and meticulous workmanship here overall.

Looking good. I agree with Hellion, just shorten the long pipe some. ( Why do I always find myself agreeing with Hellion?)

Just my opinion Gearhead, but the tank looks like you're prepared for a fire. a teardrop style tank would really give it the "look".:cheers2:

I'm building a coffin tank at work for it. I'm drawing it now on autoCad and should be able to burn out the parts this week sometime.

OND, are you taking any time from that go kart to work on any mini bike projects?

I'm machining some parts at work for it. I need to broach keyways in 2 hubs . Also just got the torque converters in the mail today
