So ive been looking into buying a mikuni air fiter for better throttle response and a bit more power. Well I have an idea for an adapter and I'm pretty sure that i'll be able to make it. Whenever im able to imoing to order a 22mm carb not an expensive one. Just a slightly cheap one because I don't have the type of money to buy a $40 one or something like that. My only concerns are will I have to buy a new throttle cable and what size is the k and n air filter. I don't like the look of the other air filters and I want to buy an adapter so I can use my k and n air filter with it because I spent alot of money on the air filter just to make it go to waste. Can someone give me some info on this?

If I do end up buying a 22mm mikuni people might be surprised on how I will make my adapter and use a mikuni carb without a special adapter. I have a pretty good idea. I have the tools to do it but not the mikuni. 😕

To me, it looks like you connect the black line to one of the petcock nipples, and your fuel line from your tank to the other.

(I just typed petcock nipples)

Do you mean like this? The white thing being my gas tank and the white cable being the fuel line that goes downwars and just hangs there.
Yes sir, you typed petcock nipples. 👌
