370cc sled engine is the way to go
You don't say?! Hmmm get it... All of it.... Bring it home.... You might miss something.....Good news, everyone! There's a junk golf cart JUST across the street from the school! The shocks are good, the steering rack is good, wheels, tires, also good... Heck, all it's missing is the ignition and coil springs! If it's at all possible, I could even scavenge the starter motor, and quite possibly the lights, too. The wheels are 8.50 X 8, and the tires are 18" tall, with good tread on them. Any suggestions on what else to salvage if I can? And would the rack actually work for my purposes?
Ummmmm.....get the whole thang......KISSER misser.....you can always sell or scrap what you don't need. ...but. ..you can't do anything with what you don't have. ......
Hmmmm, I am looking for a leaf spring to possibly make an authentic front suspension on my 32. Don't golf carts have rear leaf springs? (hint hint) I've been looking at golf carts for parts sourcing...
I'm also now wondering about the best way to use the steering rack from said golf cart...
The steering response is pretty good, I just wish it was a little cheaper. I think we could get the arc rack cheaper but with no arms. I'll check and post you a link in a second.....
