I thought the end of the world was on Dec. 21 2012 ... oh well the end of the world ended for me along time ago.

Tow me.
If you do a proper study of the Bible, you will find that we do not know exactly when Judgement Day, or Armagedon, is going to happen. We are however given indicators to point us to the general time that this will occur.
There are many scriptures that back this up. Danial 12:8,9 says that all things about the end will be kept secret or sealed until the time of the end. When Jesus' disciples asked him in Mathew 24:4-9 what the signs would be of the conclusion of this system of things, you will also note that Jesus prophesied that certain things will occur before Judgement Day would happen. These include an increase in wars, natural disasters, hunger and disease. He also said that the good news of the Kingdom would be preached in all the world, before the end will come. We see that these prophesies are being fulfilled at the moment. He did not however tell the disciples when the end would be.
Judgment Day is also not all a bad thing. The earth is not going to be destroyed as so many people mistakenly believe. If you look at Psalms 37:29, it says that the righteous will inherit the earth and reside forever on it. Psalms 104:5 also states that the earth will remain forever. There are many more scriptures that can back this up.
So don't worry that the earth is going to be destroyed, only the bad in it will be destroyed. As long as you follow what is laid out in the Bible you will be OK.
Well.....that is enough of me preaching, and I promise I won't say anymore on the matter unless someone asks.
I just hope that I also get my kart finished before that happens. I don't want to be towed.

That's only if you take the Bible word for word though. If you interpret the Bible literally, you should also stone your wife if she is not a virgin when she weds you. This is why I, perosnally, take the Bible with a grain of salt.
