George, its strange that no one has got on here to tell you how to aline these. But its simple and it looks like its allready done. But all you do is aline the two flater surfaces with each other

Thanks to all the help guys. I cleaned the kart up today and took off all the chewed pads. The seat is just one bolster side. So we can fix that pretty easy with some sewing. New pads and red tape she will look like new again.

Yes the kart will stay with me. When they/we want to go camping they can pick it up. This way I can keep up on it.

The disk thingy that the the springs wrape around on was not closing all the way. I service the clutch to Blaze's sticky thread. The belt is bad shape but hoping it will work for parade speeds for now. The belt stretched or the motor move back. I will know more tomorrow when I tes ride.

To align my clutches, I just used a metal ruler and washers to set it up. With both angled faces off so I had easy access to the flat sides, I just added or removed washers as needed so that the ruler would hit both just right. Once I had the washers set up, I took off and reset the driven and reassembled the whole thing.
