alright, my friend brought this thing over. its a electric mini moto.

36 volt setup, 400 watt motor, im impressed for its size.

turn key, pull throttle, *click* and nothing.

checked batteries, reading 37.9volts. good.
checked fuse. not blown.
checked all the wires, seemed proper.
i was stumped.

so i directly jumped the motor itself, and nothing.

took it apart to find it rusted, brushes cracked, and a magnet broke off the housing. not good.

so i actually remembered i had a 300 watt 24 volt motor laying around from my razor electric to gas conversion.

welded the scooter motor mount right over the old one. i can only put in 3 bolts but im not worried.

bolted on the motor, and it WORKS!

however my friend took home the key :roflol: :censored:

so ill bypass the key wires with a paperclip and take it for a spin tomorrow!

it sounds like its totally on steroids!

not sure if im going to do a gas conversion of it, but i like how you can drive electric almost anywhere around town, unlike a noisy 2 stroke.

maybe a beefy electric setup in the future?

just gotta put the fairings back on and its good!

that would work
depends what u have

if u have a spare 8hp then yes but if u have source it then the postie bike engine is the best

that bike looks big enough to fit a 125 without it being stupid

lets put it this way, there is no way a 6.5 clone would fit in it without totally modifying the frame.

the 8hp is from my friends dad's generator, we just might be able to get it.

it probably has a tapered shaft but no biggie, i happen to have a spare 8hp crankshaft.

there is no limit!
well i am waiting for money to grow at the moment. my money tree is sort of in a dormant state.
so i thought whatever, ill just fix this thing, make it work, spend nothing, and ride it tomorrow. lol.

well the scooter is done though, its actually being used by the fire department LOL.

the 200 watt motor died after i beat the hell out of it in the snow. so i rigged in a 500watt.

ehh, still slow. it only goes like 8mph probably.

Yeah, defining crap would be a good idea or you might get the guy near me who had an ad for "free manure" delivering a load to your house.
