Is that guy doing near 100MPH on stock spindles???????

Even though his video style is ADHD and super annoying (especially the extreme closeups of his peach fuzz face 🙄), he does do some thoughtful work and even uses a tripod sometimes. The 500 cuts all stitched and edited together to make a video means you never see a full run on the thing, 0 to 90, but just what he wants you to see. He only got to 88 or ~91MPH.

He tightened up the steering mechanism and the tolerances (which every 3MPH lawn tractor needs IMO) but the spindles look stock.
Love the fact that it is a garden tractor frame and he didn't reinvent the wheel like the OP wants to do.

That 2-smoke powerplant and transmission would be so much better configured into a kart (closer to the ground) and it would be lighter, faster and perhaps safer (or maybe more dangerous) than being perched high atop that mower. The sprocket and chain is right under his derriere so at least he has a little bit of sheet metal there plus the seat.

Thanks Kartorbust.
