I'm back! Now I need to get with Jeremy and see his designs. Glad to be home. Seems like it was just summer. What happened? Texas and it's 60 degrees? This must be "winter".

If 60*F= "winter", I wanna know what the heck my current 34*F would be considered. Or indeed, the 10*F or less that I will be "enjoying" around February would be considered. Ice Age, methinks!

Welcome back, Robert!

Ahhh yes, Austin..... such a BEAUTIFUL city! The people are my people..... keep it weird. .... lol
Doc, I lived in St.Louis for a few years, and would ride my horses in 20°f and had to repair a 1500 yard barbed wire fence (4 strand) in -10°....... When its 30° here in Houston, Id rather be back ridin my horse in St.Louis. The weather is a little different here. Even 45° here will BITE you in the a§§..... its a colder 40 than your 40...... That make any sense?

I'd consider that Kentucky. Kooky, as I thought it would be much colder in all points Canada.

If that's what you're used to, DON'T COME TO AUSTRALIA IN SUMMER, it was hotter than that this past winter :lolgoku:

Speaking of crazy weather, Yesterdays top temp here was 33°C, today, 19

Bear in mind the following- Canada is geographically quite large, and has its warmer and cooler areas. There's certainly not one single weather pattern here. According to at least one site I looked at (did NOT do a lot of research here), our square area is larger than the USA. Y'all don't have one steady climate throughout, do you? Of course not. Also (and a lot of folks don't seem to realise this), a good chunk of the continental USA is further north than some parts of Canada.

I dont know anything aboug canada, but ive been from jersey thru st louie then south west, thru texas, south cali, most of the southern states aside from florida in all the seasons. All are nice in their owne ways but I have yet to love a place like I love west virginia. Extreen cold here is in the teens and our hottest summers barely top 100*. The springs are wet and muddy, summer and fall is beautiful, and winters are usually light aside from the acational snow storms that make it down from the lakes. To recap, west virginia is a great place for muddin! :)
