Ok so as of right now I have a kt100 with a 4 hole superbox can pipe on it. It is extremely loud and want to make it quieter. Does anyone know any mufflers for the kart? I have been looking everywhere and can't seem to find one. Or if any pipes sound quieter than the 4 hole superbox thanks.

karts are noisy.. two stroke rev monsters especially...
I have a straight pipe (similar to the PRD) on a rotax 100cc.. it's not actually quiet but it's okay..

frankly I never seen the 4hole superbox much less ever heard one, so I cannot tell if it's quieter than that.
but what I can tell is that it's "okay" on a track, and not okay in the neighborhood on a calm sunday evening ;)
I know no quiet ones to be honest.. the ones that are really quiet are two stroke exhausts for road legal motorbikes (like a 125cc Honda NSR from the nineties or something)
MUCH quieter than any racing exhaust [especially here in germany :D]

But IDK if you'd want something like that tbh..
if you do.. find a 2stroke motorcycle in the realms of 100cc (say 80cc to 130cc)
and install that.. it'll serve you reasonably well but it may take up more room on the kart. *shrugs*

all changes in the exhaust will change the expansion, speed and overall behaviour.
But I assume by "mess up" you mean will have an adverse effect...

frankly, I doubt it could be any worse than those nasty little box exhausts really...

So IYAM.. I'd say it'll be an improvement, but again.. I never touched any of those box exhausts, (I see no point on a two stroke tbh) so yeah... an opinion based on prejudice ;)
take it as that :D

the only way to find out is test, or find the one that actually did a comparision
(someone NOT affiliated with any of the manufacturers involved... other than maybe yamaha for that matter ;))

I have heard that the 3 hole box muffler is a lot quieter than the 4 hole muffler do you think that would make sense?

different internals perhaps *shrugs*
much larger holes perhaps IDK
if it's internally identical and the holes are similarly sized;
then no, the three hole would be louder then (almost twice as loud to the human ear actually if I'm not mistaking)
reason behind that.. identical exhaust volume is fed through a smaller orifice (fewer similar sized in this case) and thus create a bigger pressure difference to the ambient air (33% more 'pop')
but since fumes are travelling at higher speeds ten maybe it subjectively 'feels' quieter ???
at least to some... IDK really.

fluid dynamics again (I really should take a course one day ;))
