Hello I did a killdozer style of go kart build. Just wondering if anyone else has and how they extended there throttle cable.

I am not sure of what a "killdozer" is but as far as the throttle cable being longer, I guess it has the factory style cable and I agree they are only so long so could you use two cables? One from your peddle down to a spring loaded block, them the original from the block to the carb? Sort of like a lot of carts that has a solid rod going under the seat of the cart which then connects to the flexible cable running up the carb.

Any ways, cool build, I bet that thing will be a blast! :thumbsup:

I had it running it is a blast. But I hit a tree and bent my axle.I have the machine shop milling me one because I couldn't find an inch and a quarter with the step down

He took a snowmobile engine and stuck it on a kart. He cut the whole engine and bracket out of the snowmobile and welded it onto a kart

here's some pictures of the throttle set up now. the only problem with it as I bent it when I rolled it .so I'm just wondering if anybody has a different idea so it ain't sticking out the side

The 2 cables come from the carbs and go to a plastic block. Take that block apart and replace the short single cable with a brake cable or throttle cable of the size you need. You may have to file the end "ball" of the cable to fit your block.
