Literature? There is no literature for these karts. Ken-Bar is long dead and defunct.

And while "Ken-Bar Streaker" is an accurate identification, it's much like Ford Mustang in that it doesn't really tell you much. The model names were usually an alpha numeric sequence like A-123.

Ford Mustang what? What year?

GT?
GT350?
GT500?
Bullitt?
Boss 302?
Boss 429?
Mustang II?
Convertible?

Ahh yes. Those are considered the equivalent to the Manco Dingo in the big-wheel off road kart arena.

I like Ken-Bars a lot. Well built, sturdy--you might say overbuilt.

I have never seen any manuals/resources for Ken Bars, regardless of model.
For the most part the components are fairly generic, just make sure to carefully measure before ordering.

But I like standing on my head to take pictures. All the blood rushes to my brain and my pictures look better

But which engine is it? I see a blue one that is right side up, and a black one that is upside down. I'm guessing that you're talking about the blue one, but what is the other for. And what brands, models and sized are they (ex. Ford, Windsor 351), And what truck are you building? I'm sorry, I like old cars and engines, they just don't make them like that anymore.

The blue one is a fully built 454 big block Chevy. Going in a 49 rat-cab is international bed is dodge.
The upside down black one is a 3.3l POS came out of the 04 external pos taking up garage space.

Man, if we didn't live like 900 miles apart, I'd offer you $80 for it. You know what, $100 since it has a briggs. It looks to me like a manco 415-10. They seem solid to me (I got one in a 3 kart package deal). Looks like someone did some modding to it. Can you get a picture from the back?

And nice! That 454 ought to make that thing move.

At least mine's asking for a big engine. Someone cut off the floor, and replaced it with a 30 mph speed limit sign. But the way these karts are built, they could likely handle a 13-18 horse engine with some bracing and a solid axle. But I'd be afraid of one of these with a 26 horse engine. And a live axle would be a definite must, if not it'd be pretty scary, and have waayy too much torque steer.

LS on a one wheel peel. And it looks like the manco needs front end parts but otherwise is good. But it really depends on what we can't see.

At the moment I have you beat. I am currently working on 3 karts, 1 minibike, 1 atv, and an engine for a 4th kart. It's no surprise that I'm not getting much done. So yeah, he's thinking and working smart and logically, not hard.

4 karts, a chainsaw, edger, need a carb for a 5th. Fun times. TheCEEJ can you maybe grab a pic from the other side of the kart, and maybe uncover that front end if possible...
