In college we found a shopping cart at an apartment complex and took it out to a back road where we pushed it up to high speed with the truck and let it fly off the road or crash into stuff. It was good fun while it lasted. Not much entertainment in Waco...

We filmed a Go-Kart Alley scene in a closed down grocery store. I had my dolly and track all set up to do a foot-by-foot reveal of the mini-semi truck. In the end I liked the results from mounting a GoPro to one of their many shopping carts.

This place sure made me wish I had the time/budge to make a Bues Brothers episode.

Pulling shopping carts out of a creek gives me fodder for Mad Max mayhem in that future episode though. Thanks for the inspiration!
