and just as I thought it's "Ungehorsam" you're after
very german word, and actually has a military connotation..

Intentionally getting a speeding ticket, parking in a no parking area, crossing the street at a red sign etc. can be considered "ziviler Ungehorsam" in germany
that's why I mentioned it.
it lacks some of the "city", but it says just the same

Update.

Something told me to get back at this.

Bigger rear wheels, 6 Inchers just like Sarge. Found a can of Khaki camo paint, slam the steering down... some rear funky piece that'll serve as a brake cover... I guess.

Of course... the rear fins. MUA HA HA!

This is gonna look odd... but that's the point. A friend for Sarge... same engine, same gearing, proven frame.... just as mean too.

Update:

Doing some yard work and with the rain we've had... my lawn needed a bit of work.. like 2 passes with the mower to get it right.

Between the front yard & the back..I took a break. I had to find out if that fix with JB weld would hold up under some pressure... that, and I needed to get the wheels sorted for old Bonneville Spirit. Nuts don't match but will hold for now while I find some cap nuts that will work on these.

So, a little inventory and 35 psi (way too much)... and JB seems to hold. One way to find out... slap some bearings in them & take em for a ride.

While not perfect... these turbines will make one of these Kart Rods Proud. So, holding to my original plan, I've not destroyed a perfect set... just re-purposed a usable set. Thanks mystery person for donating them.

p.s. Bonneville is changing a bit however. Stay tuned on that. (Sid) MUA HA HA HA HA

Update:

After work, things around the house & everything else are good, so I figured I'd see what I could do with this old beast of a frame I picked up a while back. 1 1/4" tube, it's a beast.

2 cutoff wheels later, and a few back pieces popped into the main tubes... and Unit 51 (a.k.a. Moving Violation) now has a suitable frame... yep. Comes complete with a little trunk area behind the seat.

Had to trim down the pedal car body to fit where the feet went, but she'll do nicely.

Best part: I managed to get the steering tube right through the original location of the steering column on the pedal car body.

Yep.

Change of plan, it just looks better this way.

Seeing I'll never ever have a car such as what this loosely resembles, I figure I can make a one of a kind that's better.

I guess knowing a person that does own an actual one is enough for me. (anyone says Plymouth Fury... I'll slap you. That's not what Christine was)

But yes, this one's name is Christine. For obvious reasons. Wait until ya see the motor.

So, shortened up the rear before welding in place, found those fins I had for it... and this is coming out nicely.

it's a bit odd with the proportions
they match nicely back to the fins, and then there's motor tank axle to come..

maybe the fins could make nice covers for the brakedisc and sprocket instead;
it'll ruin the proportions, yes;
but it'd connect front and back I guess...

And yes, I know I know... I'll wait.. just saying

I thought about the fins covering the brake disc or putting them way back on the frame rails but it ruined it and made it look weird (well, to me) so I sat them there and fell in love.

It kind of keeps the Pedal car origins in place and gives room for the business end of this beast. We'll have to whip up a triple air filter for it too to mimic the tri-power set up.

Although I guess you'll switch to hand throttle as usual, you still need to have your legs somewhere...

The back rest is cut off and just sitting there for now while I "eyeball" the whole thing. It will be 3 in shorter too.

My heels fit against the front tube and as you sit, the toes point out always, so the brake pedal will all fit pretty good just outside the body. This one's wider than the others so there's enough room for it all.

It'll work out.

Update:

Ah, Friday. Nothing to do this weekend...so, let's get to it.

Seat back cut down a bit more to desired visual height yet still high enough to use & hold the fuel tank high enough for gravity feed.

Got the vintage bendix brake system out that I got a while back and this will work for this one. Got the rear tubes lined up, mock up wheels placed for clearance, then sat a motor in the area where it should go to see if we'll fit. Yup. 1" front to back movement will work.

As with the more successful rides of mine, yet another GX200 is being used here. Reason? To keep it as low as possible, they're bulletproof and generally fast. The motor plate will be on the very bottom of the frame rails. A low exhaust and a triple filtered intake will be made for this to spice it up. Seems the motor always ruins the look so some special cosmetic mods will be needed here.

The old bendix brake drum just mounts to a sprocket carrier... so.. we'll go dual-purpose here. Sprocket mounted on the other side, right by the brake.

Next up: grind down all the pieces, weld them in place, make body attachments... yea.

Update:

A mellow evening at home, time to find the parts and suitable frame for a lost hot rod go kart... the Semi of Death.

It's first frame was a mish-mash of... other crap I had. It was put on the back shelf until I came up with an idea or something usable.

Wouldn't you know it... the combination of a spare front end of something and the rear of one I destroyed a while back... will fit together nicely and give a look worthy of this ride. A wide front end and a narrow sort of rear end seems to fit here.

This time, she has twin engines.
