You should start a Kart rod club to get likeminded folk together . A craigslist add and wait . Something to ponder .

On another subject, I'm having a hard time coming up with a name for this. Being artistic (like writing) we artistic types sometimes have writers block and just get stuck on something. In this case, the name. I called it Wedge earlier, but it just doesn't work.

My first custom job, Urban Defiance fits her perfectly. She has attitude, speed and the like. The 2nd one, Brown Thunder (snicker) is just a work of art and loud loud loud... and shiny metalic brown/bronze... but this one, I just don't know what to call it.

So, I'm asking for ideas from everyone that's interested in chiming in.

It's gotta be creative, have attitude, reflect defiance, givin the finger to the man... and possibly be funny.

Anyone?

It kinda reminds me of an old Maserati race car .

Yeah thats the problem, craigslist doesnt have a dedicated Go Kart section.

I'd sugest you go on your local craigslist, then search all the following terms: Go Kart, Gokart, Go Cart and Gocart, to find the most commonly used sections in your area. Then post your ad in that section, and also include the other 3 misspelled search terms/key-words (in parentheses at the bottom), so most everyone searching for go karts and related parts will find your ad.

A leaf mounted tube with spindle brackets

The leafs could be made with a piece of flatbar w/both ends welded to the frame so you get the look but still have a ridged frame or make them functional. You could use the leafs off a jon boat trailer or jet ski trailer . All you'd need is the main bar. Well for it to be true gasser you'd need a badask big engine like a Gx390 , OH YEAH! a B&S 35hp V-TWIN Vanguard w/dual exhaust .

And call it Bean There.

All good suggestions so far, love em all. Still not sure just yet. This one may come to me as I get more done.

Bonneville something has a neat ring to it because, yes, Utah is where I am. The word "Bonneville" has some significance around these parts.

Dunno yet. Will work more on it & see where it all goes.

Any other suggestions are welcome of course.

A small update:

Cold & windy out today but I needed a break from life and I had an idea. Switching around numerous things on my 3, um... children (kart rods)

For the Green thing, I think I have the right motor now

For old Brown Thunder, a motor switch to make the look a little more slammed

And for Urban Defiance, her gnarley filter & pipe, gotta fab up some linkage for that, but that's another day.
