Looks like this seller put a lot of time into getting the kart ready before it was posted on Craigslist to be sold. A little prep goes a long way.

I wouldn't even bother with the body, it's probably just a lot of hassle, and also, it doesn't even look very good.

That shrub looks like it's growing through the frame. Poor Briggs, it's likely full of water with the air cleaner missing like that.

If the seller would drag it out of the bushes and and at least remove most of the debris he may have a better chance of a sale.

Motor ran when it was parked. Probably ~5 yrs ago.
I'd buy only the engine, everything else looks like junk.

I hate to say it... but I reckon that motor will run with a bit of work... it is a briggs... the carb/tank may not be worth it... but the block itself... If its not the plastic cam version...

Any particular way to tell if it's got a plastEEK! cam? Obviously other than cracking the case.
As a whole, the engine looks pretty clean.
But then again, that can be achieved with engine degreaser and spray paint....
