I idled it up a little when I was tinkering with it trying to get it tuned up. Kept dying..... now it purrs like a kitten till ya mash the throttle..... lol
I still got a lot of work to do like cleaning it up for paint and whatnot. ...but my daughter can ride it now at least.
Hey Tony, what would you recommend , as far as glue/epoxy, to mend the crack in the plastic .CHEAP china plastic..... I thought about gouging a groove along the crack and then filling with an epoxy, but which one would be best? Can you plastic weld without a welder?

Can you plastic weld without a welder?

Of course you can: You can use a heat gun with a small, concentrated tip, a small blow torch, a soldering iron, even a hot screwdriver (in that order of preference). You need to get right into the plastic to join it properly (the same as welding metal) & weld from both sides, leaving it to cool a bit (but not too much) between sides...

Yes indeed, it got up and went! Its fast with her on it, the acceleration is quick when she slams the throttle back! We had 3 karts running the streets today, it was AWESOME! The kids loved it!
On a side note, while taking turns riding with "firemanjim's play time thrill ride", me and the last rider (my 10 y/o daughter) had a slight mis hap.... After numerous slides,suzy-Q's,and donuts, I was gonna do one last power slide from the street, to my shop driveway, to my house driveway. It was going great....... until...... halfway through the slide I realized my arc would put the back tire right in a hole, side ways..... tires and karts dont like that. I knew we were gonna flip but didnt tell Jessica . (Drama queen) I put my arm across her chest grabbing the side rail, we hit an flipped. I made a high-back seat for this kart and a side rail on passenger side for this reason. The seat back hit the asphalt,my left elbow/forearm hit the ground stopping me and i was able to hold her up and in with my right arm. She screamed and cried like she cut her leg cut off (drama queen) . I pushed us over with my arm and leg, we landed with a thud her screaming..... I told her "stop look, you never left your seat." She said, " huh, I didnt? Im not hurt?" I laughed and told her " h€££ no, you're ok. You ready to go home now? " She asked for another ride, just no slides, only the Q's and O's..... lol no harm no foul....
