The mercury cruiser block can be used with automotive water pump, IIRC.... Isn't that one the ford derivative?
EDIT yep, that engine can be used in a car because it is based off a car engine..... All you do is swap the heads (iirc) and add a coolant pump,and radiator.

Every problem can be over come if you want that to happen. Oh I forgot to say this was a Outboard V-6 engine < outboard not a Merc Cruiser car engine. I bow out Jim .

Cool, now maybe the OP can get his help with out someone else disputing the help he is receiving....... Anything is possible, with a lot of time and money...... I got more time than money, so I'll go a simple less costly and frustrating approach. A jet ski engine on land just isn't practical or cheap enough to waste my time or money on trying to get it to work. I'd rather mess with a snowmobile engine. Made for land.....
