Not intended to make the roll bar but you motivated me. The first photo shows the location of the roll bar. Other pics, some upgrades.

I'm curios about one aspect of the rear suspension. When the leafspring is compressed, the effective length changes yet its bolted to a rigid swigarm. Wouldn't that create allot of stress on the pivot bolts?

To avoid stress on swingarm, the swingarm arm are not rigid and are not held to the leafsprings.

Bando, how wide and how long is this body of the jeep you have here?

Good ideal on the latch for thew hood or bonnet.

I do not remember the exact measurements at this time. I think it's about 44" x 90". I will put the real measurements later.

I was trying to see what scale this ride is, looks like you have it at 3/4 scale. Like I've said, this looks awesome:D

OOH! Good guess, it's 7/10ths scale. He mentions it on page 3. This really is an amazing build and I love it.

Bando, do we have paint or seats in it, roll bar and or bigger tires yet???

I could not do much, just some minor repairs. I have tubes for the roll bar and soon I start to build.

Here some pics where you can see the scale. Mini jeep cj7 and real cj6.

You've done a very good job on this jeep. I'm in the plans of building one myself, I have 1 1/2"x2" tubing for the frame. The print you have in the first part of your thread is not clear and so I looked it up, well it's not clear either; Some of the jeep sites also have prints as well and they are not clear. I'm having hard time finding a print that can be read clearly, I even got on E Bay and when I received it it wasn't a clear print; At the time I was looking for a Manuel that had all the specs, haven't located one yet.
