Just out of curiosity, what gauge was the sheetmetal you used for the bodywork, and what are the dimesions and thickness of the tubing used for the body's skeletal structure?

I speak a little english but I try to explain as best as possible. I,m new in this type of work but I like to do this kind of proyects. I made the structure with 1/2 x 1/2 square tubing. The gauge of the steel I think is 18. I found a friend with a cj7 jeep to take all measurements and pictures. I go to the web to obtain the chassis shape and dimension. First thing I did was buy an axle and wheels. The axle with the wheels was the part that determine the wide of the jeep. With the wide measurement of a real cj7 and the wide measurement of a mini jeep I do a calculations to obtain the scale of the jeep. This scale is 0.7. Multiply by 0.7 all measurements of real cj7 to obtain the mini cj7 sizes. I draw all parts in a playwood to do the same with the square tubing. Then weld part by part. A lot of work. The measurements of the mini jeep are about 42" x 94" I don,t know exactly. No plans available only a measuring tape ,pencil, paper and pics.

A lot of work today. I found a mistake on the rear part of the body. I think that I built this part of the body about 3 inches shorter because the center of the fenders not match the center of the wheel. Therefore the chassis is 3 inches longer. What can I do now? After analyze every possible option to fix that mistake decided to cut the chassis 3 inches. Then cut the steering rod too. After all, so I decided to continue building the frame of the fenders. Here some pics.

Too many time searching for the correct tail light for my jeep. Build time.

I need:
Some white leds
red leds
pvc board
plexiglass
4x3 project box
red transparent film
silicone

First, I need to join the plexiglass and the pvc board and cut it to the correct taillight shape. Then mark the position of each led and drill the holes. Making sure to perforate by a half the plexiglass. Then I can install all leds on position.

Below is a drawing and some pics.
