Don't run it without a header. EVER!

70mph max speed will give REALLY good acceleration. My GS500 kart will be geared for 70mph top speed. I'm changing the rear sprocket from 35 tooth (stock) to a 50 tooth. However, I am using large wheels so you might not have to gear it down as much with small kart wheels.

You wont flip a race cart doing a wheelie with little tires...its impossible. 70MPH is a good speed. You will have insane acceleration.

You got a point there, leme rephrase that. With that kind of gearing there will be 20x more motor than tire.

Pick up a set of headers or check ones out for ideas/sizing etc. imo
4 into 1 is your best bet for all around performance. actually with your motor and weight combo.... pretty much what ever you do it will fly, however you will need to jet the carbs for your exhuast choice.
