Is this engine mounted sideways??

I don't see why you can't as long as the bolt holes line up and it is in good working order.

There's a small offset between the front and rear pulleys. Is that ok? I have another small spacer, but with it on everything just barely fits on the drive shaft.

I got the engine mounted and running. Gonna let it idle for about an hour to break in before I go on a test ride.

Too much. You want the flat faces to line up. Could try to get rid of space behind the driven pulley. May have to move your axle sprocket.

Need to move engine to the left. Some use an adaptor motor plate.

212cc or any traditional small engine will fit fine but i suggest a 420cc i have a subaru i bought for 50$ just waiting on the tc and im good to go!

He may not be able to usually on yerfdogs they rust to the axel but who knows

That alignment is too far off. You will not be able to run it as it sits now

I took it for a spin and it goes. Much faster than it was with the Tecumseh.

Moving the engine to the left seems like a huge pain in the ***. So does moving the sprocket to the right. I'm going to try a spacer on the drive pulley first. If that doesn't work then I guess I'll be drilling some holes in the engine baseplate.

I'm just worried about the circled part only having about an inch of driveshaft in it. I saw a youtube video where the guy claims that this is a common issue and people say not to worry about it. Opinions on that?

Nice. Did you have to do any fab work, or just reverse the order you put the components onto the jackshaft?

no fab work. Just spacers put in different locations and had to remove the axle sprocket and flip it 180- degrees.

Where do y'all shop for tires? BMI and GoPower only have 1 turf style option in 15x6-6. I want something with a more aggressive tread pattern for dirt.

Do you have a Tractor Supply or Northern Tool+Equipment near by? They usually have better selection of turf tires and tires in general.
