Received the tires. Did a little mockup. I am happy with the size.
I wasn't happy that one of the rims had a different offset. I guess I will have to buy a new rim from BMI. But for now I will use a larger spacer.
I fixed this weld but forgot the after picture. I guess I will upload that tomorrow.
I started working on the rear axle removing rust. You can see the briggs int he background that I am working on still. Honestly i am thinking the $99 predator might be an easier solution because of mounting issues, at least until I can get something better. My son is chomping at the bit to get it going. I am seriously contemplating just cutting off the old bearings and replacing them, I just hate to waste stuff.
Side note, I was at harbor freight and looking at the powder coat kit for $69 but I don't have an oven big enough to cook the frame in. I was thinking I could make one some aluminum siding, insulation foam board, plywood, and my shop kerosene heater. Not sure I want to do that though. I have the frame about ready for primer and paint. Just trying to decide what to do with it.
