Im new new some info

Hi my name is matt and Im building a kinda stupid yet insain build.lol Im a mecanic at a john deere dealer so I rebuild these every day so I have the know how to do this. I have a little pocket bike and a briggs 5 horse. You put two and two togather.

I need to know whats the highest lift I can go on a cam before it will start hitting the crank. I just heard that they hit if you go to big and I dont want to buy a new crank.

You would have to throw a massive cam in a 5 hp for the lobes to hit the cam. Sometimes the billet rod wants to hit the inside of the lobes on the cam and the base of the cam but you can clearence the cam with no probelems.
