Hi. I just picked this up to restore with my son. Any idea what it is? Thanks, Matt

Doesn’t look like much of a project -- :sneaky: I see nothing to “restore” (a return to original condition) as it looks running and driving. RIDE IT!

Looks like a Klipper Kart, manufactured by T&D Metals in Watseka IL. The kart division is defunct but I think T&D is still around....

*** On second thought, it appears to have extra weldments added to it. I’d cut all the superfluous junk off.

Thank you! I plan to tear it down and have it powder coated and put some new components on. But for now I’m waiting for a brake setup then we’re going to ride it until winter!

Welcome. What is that big square thing welded on the back? Doesn't look like it belongs there. Great age for your son to start driving a motorized vehicle. You won't believe how far ahead he'll be when it's time to get a drivers license.

I believe it’s a battery tray?
