It looks like you know what you're doing! Looking nice.

As for the rear sprocket, depends on how many teeth your clutch has, your tire size and how fast you want it to go.

I had the same front wheels on my kart at first and with the crappy bearings in them I would have the bearings killed in about 30 minutes of riding. I got sick of those tiny bearings and bought some high speed 4 bolt tappered rollar bearing hubs and 4 bolt 5.70" X 8 trailer tires.

ya i used the exact same front wheels from princess auto cept we used them for all four corners, first run out we popped a tire, third run out we blew a bearing housing... so now i have to rethink pretty much the entire drive train...

I have a 10 tooth cluch and a 48 tooth rear sp.
I should go with a bigger back sp for off road is this right?

I think I will try your calculator just noticed it thank's

yeah that would be pretty disapointing if that happened first time out.

I did see PA had a hub and spindal all ready made but they were $ 60.00 for one I was just trying the cheap way out

You might want to check out www.casterland.com for all you Canadian guys. They have a good selection of wheels, wheel hubs and tires in stock. got my front tires for the Dingo there at $ 26.00 ea. Good online catalogue with pricing that appears more reasonable than PA.

on my offroad setup, i am using 16:93 with 14" wheels. (#219 chain)
depends on the size of your back wheels. depends what speed and torque you want (smaller back sprocket/ bigger wheels= higher speed, lower torque nd vice verca)

PA wheels

What I have done in the past is remove the cheap
low speed bearings , and replaced them with a comercial
sealed roller bearing , take your rims with you and they
can measure them .Its been a while but the last ones I
got cost $6.00 a piece and worked great.
Look in your yellow pages under bearings, most of thease
places also sell chain, sprocket, etc.
Rob.
