You can't leave now. There's definitely no police or physics involved so you are indeed unstoppable here. :)

Might as well pull up a stool, Denny...

Sorry been busy. And still trying to get this computer stuff down. I've probably erased five or six updates and edits. Sucks

You should go with the preponderance of the evidence.....the majority of the logical and reasonable advice...not just what fits in what YOU expect for an answer....otherwise the question is pointless if you ignore whatever answer you don't expect.

If you don't believe the answer is correct...then it's YOUR responsibility to research and prove so....or suffer the consequence of ignorance.

I was found guilty once based on a preponderance of evidence.

Well that was just uncalled for. This forum jumped in to assist you with this endeavor but it was extremely difficult to get information out of you in regards to your ideas and what you wanted out of the kart.

The knowledge base on this forum is extraordinary, and while there is some funny banter and ball busting going back and forth, you'll not find a better group of people with such varied technical expertise.

Golden Rule... You get what you give, mister.

Probverbs 10:15.....'nuff said....

EDIT : Not religious....just reference material!

After all...we just parrot what we read here.....

Come to think of it....I bet this genius would walk into a Victoria Secrets shop and bellyache all they had was revealing women's wear....Vanna...can he buy a clue?

---------- Post added at 02:52 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:28 PM ----------

And you broke Poboy rule #1: don't dis the forum...we've had guys here that designed and built engines from the ground up. Built their own airplanes. You couldn't even fathom why a common tube tube to share two carbs has merit.Even a dumb Poboy can figure that ~one out....in a hundred years of internal combustion engines....until fuel injection...anything carburetorted has shared a common plenum....DUH! Why do you think that is....???! All of mankind was stupid....except for you ?

Don't let the back door hit ya where the good Lord split ya....

(Again...just parroting something I read....)

I've READ that jumping off a 5 story building is painful....why don't you do THAT and report back?

well for one thing I can show you quite a few motors where people did just what im talking about. But won't reply on how it works. How important the synchronization is I mean to say. And the information that this other genius is saying I haven't given. What in the **** are you talking about? It's a small two cylinder opposable head engine. One carburetor on each cylinder! What do you think. That is the information. The only information that you need. What do you want? Spec's blueprints!Wow.

Nope....you are STILL CLUELESS....and your vauge A$$ question answered...the pro's and con's laid out like a red carpet....we can't help it if you are too dense to absorb it!

There is a reason we ask for information....when you decide it's unnecessary to supply....you....GET WHAT YA PAY FOR......(at this point....it's grief.....)

Have a nice life....and....in the eternal words of Tom....(IIRC)....."Well...........bye."

Once again all the information was there
There is no more. And I just figured out what the problem is. You have no clue about any of this. For one thing I didn't get back on the forum for some time Because I gave up on this site. And being the fabricator and machinist that I am! Well just say that I did the research and figured it out. Good afternoon.

Different animal Eric.

Splitting the carburetion will work on a 2 cylinder engine but a balance tube must be between the 2 carbs and the intake ports, it will make tuning easier. You will need to know the cfm of the original carb and then get 2 half the size. Or you could cheat. Say you're engine is 600cc, get 2 carbs for a 300 cc engine. Remember it is better to round down to the cc than up when choosing the new carbs for example. If you're engine is 630cc you would be better off going for a carb for a 301 cc engine. The 390 cc carbs would be too big and would kill low speed torque. Good luck.

Denny

I would put the carbs directly to each cylinder. That's what I was thinking. And they are one strong engine. The pistons are as big as a Chevy 350

What do you mean by balance tube

I rest my case.....
