Hey, megaman1339! Here in AZ, besides a Hell-Like weather model, we have a place called "Deseret Industries" which is like Goodwill, but they tend to get more of the greasy fun stuff. If there's something like that near you, go scouting for old reel-mowers and tillers. They have LOTS of useful bits besides the engines to salvage. My 1st adult project was based on the B/S 2hp ($12), 5:1 gearing and the HF $5 10" wheels, and it worked okay.... if you can find a B/S 80000 series (3hp) or (YOU LUCKY GUY!) a B/S 90000 series horizontal shaft motor (3.5hp) then you'll be fine for single seat work. Watch my thread in the Gallery section in the next couple of days... I'm going to GPS my stock B/S 2hp motor, which I'm pretty sure is hitting 28mph on level ground with me (210lbs) in it, and try to post the video.
