Uuh well i spent 100$ i can get that much back easy but ya know gotta analize my purchase. A tecumseh flathead with clutch a tecumseh 5-6 hp and i think a clone engine of sorts, a live axel go kart and a one wheel peel kart. And well half a go kart? I already have plans for the the half and the others aswell.
Too dark for me to take pictures but here is the one they gave me.

From what I can see in the pic, that clone engine looks to be a GC160/GC190 or a clone of them. Overhead cam, timing belt.

Not bad engines, but not ideal for a kart.

That middle kart's seat hoop is interesting..........Kinda reminds me of a 60s Bug kart, but IDK.

That poor ka!(I omitted the rt since it's only half a kart :roflol:

the red'ish one looks promising to me..
the black'ish middle one seems to be a rather dull candidate..
and well the right pointfive of a kart is ...uhm ....
let's say you have some more front wheels.. that's not bad :D

I do quite like that first frame.

Search the local classifieds for a drift trike... I bet you find the other half scabbed to a bike frame! :roflol:

The first frame is the best frame but the black on has the best tie rods and steering wheel so black on is parts. Also im keeping it for a build or two my mom dreamed up.

JT hit it right on the head, that's a Honda GC engine. They are set up for pressure washers and things that don't have to be operated remotely. I've spent hours looking, and it doesn't appear that they make a remote operation throttle. So if you're going to put one on a kart, you'll have to make a throttle cable housing bracket, and attach the cable to the throttle lever. Then it's the same as on a predator, remove the friction washer, and loosen the bolt up enough for the throttle to return on it's own. But they're smooth little engines, though they do lack power (they're only 5hp for the 160 and I think 6 for the 190).

The gc and one of the clones are being parted there is i think a 3hp ohv clone of sorts its like a 212 but smaller i made a death pipe for it the exhaust fits a 212. Also the tecumseh flathead i though was seized was just so dirty it wouldnt move yay. And i made 55$ by selling an exhaust and clutch.

That pipe is just ASKING to hydrolock the engine!! :roflol:

Especially considering you leave your projects uncovered out in the rain.....

That pipe is also asking to mount a trip wire rather exactly 3.3 ft away from it
so you can stab your skull properly..
don't forget to file the edges sharp so you can punch right through first try ;)

That pipe should only go to the bin IYAM..

PS Trev, am I misremembering you having a lil' brother?
if not.. have you ever had him run around .. near the kart perhaps?
would you mind reconsidering the 'design' choice there?

I don't know. Looking at it again, it does look like a small block. You were the one who said it looks like a big block!
It looks like an LCT snowblower engine, looking at it again, but it could be any clone really.

At any rate, that crankcase is FILTHY! Bore doesn't look great either.
